2022 NFL Redraft and Grades
1. Travon Walker, Georgia
Travon Walker was the first pick of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia. He was a Defensive End that was expected to be a pass rusher with major strength and explosiveness who was quick of the line. He had a bit of a slow start with his rookie year but then expolded for 10.5 Sacks and 19 QBH in his next year and then matched those numbers with 10.5 Sacks the next year after that. He didnt get back to those numbers this year, but assuming this was only a down year this was a great pick. Right now id give it a B- and he goes 1. In the redraft because i haven't done any other players yet.
2. Aidan Hutchinson, Michigan
Aidan Hutchinson was a Defensive End who went Number 2 in the 2022 Draft. He was a notch below other players and DEs for physical traits but he was one of the most technically sound pass rushers in college and in the draft. In his first year had 9.5 Sacks and an ungodly 3 INTs which wss insane to see from a Defensive End. He knew just when to get up and grab the ball rifht from the QB. His best year so far has been 2024-2025 when he had 14.5 Sacks, 4 PBUs, 4 FF, 14 TFLs, and an insane 35 QBH. He did have an injury this year, but he should be straight back on track to his normal numbers and so far he looks to be one of the best DEs in the league. I give this pick an A+ for the Lions, and i think he goes number 1. In the redraft so right now the redraft is as follows:

After being on one of the best teams in CFB History, Derek Stingley was a lockdown corner in college when he didnt miss time. He was great on Man-To-Man Coverage and was a very physical corner who used that to his advantage when playing recievers. In the NFL, he has been ine of the leagues lockdown corners and has really improved his run defense from college and now is a big part of one of the leagues best defenses with Will Anderson Jr. And Danielle Hunter leading the Line. He is part of ome of the dynamic duos of the NFL with Kamari Lassiter making one of the premier secondarys in the NFL. His best year so far in the NFL for me was 2024. He had 5 INTs, 18 PBUs, and 4 TFLs. This past year he out up similar production with only one less Intercepption so he has been extremely consistent. So for the Texans, i give this pick an A+ and he goes 2. In the Redraft for me. So the Redraft is as follows:

Sauce Gardner was a CB that went Pick 4 in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was one of the best Press Man CBs in the class and could smother a reciever whenever he needed it. He was one of the main reasons the Cincinnati defense was one of the best in the nation, ranking 5th in Scoring Defense and 10th in Total Defense for his final year. In the NFL, he has been been of the leagues premier lockdown Cornerbacks since the draft and was one of the only bright spots on the Jets. After he got traded to the Colts, its a little sad he didn't stay with the team but he was great corner when he was there. I would give this pick an A- for the Jets, it would've been an A+ but he didnt stay with the team. His best year was undeniably his Rookie Year where he had 2 INTs and 20 PBUs which led the league. He has been a 2* Pro Bowler and a 2-Time First Team All-Pro. In the redraft he would go 3. So now the Redraft is as follows:

Kayvon Thibedaoux was the 5th Pick of the 2022 NFL Draft and a DE. After the first few picks all being great players, this is were it falls off. Kayvon Thibedaoux was looked at as an amazing pass rusher with great pass rush moves and someone who was going to be able to go toe to toe with all of the best Tackles in the league. He did not pan out as a player, and that's not saying he was a bad player, he is definitely serviceable but he was just not as good as expected to be. His best season was 2023 when he had 11.5 Sacks, 12 TFLs, and 4 FF. I would give this pick for the Giants a C- because he had on great season and has fallen off ever since. In the redraft i would put him at 5. Since he is definitely the worst player we have talked about.

Ikem Ekwonu was an OT selected by the Carolina Panthers with the 6th Pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. He was known as a aggresive Run Blocker who would have been a great or at least helpful part of an Offensive Line. He has been a very reliable player, in seasons where hes played 15+ Games he has played 100% of the snaps 3/4 of his seasons and he has been a great piece to the Panther Offensive Line. While not stacking up to some of the best Offensive Lineman, a 0.84% Sack Peecentage and a 4.25% Pressure Percentage make him a very good piece to an Offenssive Line. For the Panthers i give this pick a B- and he goes 5. In the redraft. So the redraft is as follows:

Evan Neal was an OT/OG Selected for the 7th Pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Alabama. This was horrible pick for the Giants. After 4 Years of extremely poor performance, especially in the pass game where he ranks close to dead last in win rate in. He has actually showed a lot of great flashes in his run blocking, ranking very high in Run Blocking grade with a 80.7 Rum Blocking Grade in 2024, which ranked 9th out of 81 Tackles. He also had a 49.1 Pass Blocking grade, which was 70th out of 76 Guards. And since the Giants have had a Pass-Heavier offense since Evan Neal was drafted, i give this pick a D- for the Giants and it would have been an F if not for his Run Blocking ability. This will obviously keep him at 7. For the redraft, but only because we have done that many players. Afther this, the redraft is as follows:

Drake London was drafted at pick Number 8 by the Atlanta Falcons as a WR in the 2022 NFL Draft. After a great college career, where he had 160 Receptions, 2,153 Recieving Yards, 15 TDs, and a Pac-12 Offensive Player of The Year. In his rookie year, the Falcons found out that Drake had some sparks of being a great reciever, but had some things to work on. After that season, he had 1 More 900 Yard season and then had his best season with 1200+ Yards, 9 TDs, and 100 Receptions. He looked like a great Route Runner, and his Hands and Catch Radius had really leveled up. Sadly, he got injured this past year so we were not able to see a full season but he looked on pace for a great one. With his stats adjusted for 17 Games he would have had:
1,300 Yards
96 Receptions
10 TDs.
This is obviusly a great season, but we don't actually know how well he would have done. For the Falcons, i would give this pick a A+. Right now he would go Number 4 in the redraft so now it is as follows:

Charles Cross, OT was the 9th Pick in 2022 NFL Draft and was Selected by the Seattle Seahawks.
He had a 73.9 Blocking Grade this past year which ranked 30th out of 89 Tackles. He has been a very great Tackle for the Seahawks and has been an integral part of the Seahawks Offensive Line and why they were T-5th in the league for Sacks Allowed, only allowing 27. He has some room to improve on his run blocking but besides that he is a great player. A remarkably low 0.36% Sack Percentage and a 5.33% Pressure Percentage puts hum as one of the best pass blockers in the league. For this pick i would give the Seahawks a B+ And he would go number 6. Garrett Wilson was picked Number 10. As a WR in the 2022 NFL Draft. He was looked at as a WR with elite body control and who could mske Big Plays happen whenever he wanted. He ended up having a great rookie season, getting OROTY with 83 Receptions and 1,103 Yards with 15.3 YPC. He has been a consistent 1,000 Yard reciever his entire career but since he has been on one of the worst franchises in football it hasn't led to much. This past year he was injured and got only 36 Receptions and 396 Yards which shockingly still helped him lead his team in recieving yards. I would give this pick a A- for the Jets because he has been a good player but it hasnt led to much. He would go 5. In the redraft so now it is as follows:

Chris Olave was a WR picked #12 in the 2022 NFL Draft. He had great hands with great route running and speedy acceleration off the line. In his first year with the Saints, he got a Concussion which forced him to miss a game but despite that, he still passed 1,000 yards and had a good rookie year. After that, he had a 1,100 Yard Season and looked to be a great wide reciver and that he was going to slowly turn into a superstar, but saldy in his third year he got a concussion that made him consider retirement. After going through a long and hard rehab process, he came back this past year and got 100 Reception with 1,163 Yards to make his first ever All-Pro Second Team. I give this pick an A- for the Saints, and he goes 5. In the redraft so tlnow the redraft is as follows:
