NFC Playoff Predictions
2 Seed Vs 7 Seed: Detroit Lions Vs Dallas Cowboys
Both of these teams are predicted to have some of the best offenses in the league. Their high powered offenses should make this a good game despite the seeding difference. Jahymr Gibbs will be a massive problem for the Cowboys defense that were one of the worst in the league last year. Even though i think it is better, which is why i have them in the playoffs, the Lions just have too much firepower and i think they will get the win, 34-21.
3 Seed Vs 6 Seed: Philedelphia Eagles Vs Chicago Bears
I think this game would be close. The Bears have a genius at head coach and a young stud at QB with Caleb Williams and someone who it think is a little underrated at WR in Luther Burden. The Eagles are a seasoned team who have lots of playoff experience in the last few years and have done well throughout the years, and they have one of the best Runningbacks in the league with Saquon Barkley who had one of the best Rushing Seasons ever. For my prediction, i think the Bears will just pull it out, 31-24.
4 Seed Vs 5 Seed: Carolina Panthers Vs Seattle Seahawks
I feel like this is an obvious one. The Panthers put up a good fight against the Rams last year but the Super Bowl Winners should take this one. The defense shouldn't lose to many steps and they still have JSN who was the main propellant of their offense. It will take a while for the Panthers to become a team to be feared across the league but they are well on their way with the young talent. Prediction, 41-24 Seahawks.
Lions Win, Bears Win, Seahawks Win.
1 Seed Vs 5 Seed: LA Rams Vs Seattle Seahawks
I will say this, if the LA Rams don't at least make the superbowl this year it will be a massive failure. They only lost one really important player for the season and they replaced him with ine of the best players ever in the position. They have the best reciever 1-2 in the leagues with a defense that should be amazing. Prediction, 38-21.
2 Seed Vs 6 Seed: Detroit Lions Vs Chicago Bears
When these teams matched up in week 1 of last season, it was a blowout. 52-21, it looked like there was a clear disparity of talent and skill between the teams. Now this game should be close. This will be a battle of offense with Caleb Williams and Jared Goff. Something that worked for the Lions was a lot of under center and play action last time the teams played but they should be able to make the adjustments as Ben Johnson has high hopes for their young core and is one of the best runners of an offense in the league. I think the Bears will have a much tougher challenge against the Lions than last year cosidering the injuries they had last year. My prediction is 28-21, Lions.
AFC
4 Seed Vs 5 Seed: Houston Texans Vs LA Chargers
Both of these teams will have some of the best defenses in the league. Its really going to be the offense that decides the game. The Texans are going to hope what happened to C.J Stroud last year against the Patriots and he can grow on his amazing rookie year. The Chargers have definitely had sucess in making it to the playoffs but they seem to always just sputter out in the First Round. My Prediction, 24-21. Texans.
2 Seed Vs 7 Seed: Denver Broncos Vs Pittsburgh Steelers
This seems like another obvious choice for me. The Steelers made the playoffs last year but when they played a good defense they just fell over and died. It should be no different this year when they face the Broncos smothering defense. The Broncis will definitely pull this one out, they should have no problem with the Steelers recievers and the Run game should be fine with Zach Allen anchoring their D-Line. Score Prediction, 35-14.
3 Seed Vs 6 Seed: Baltimore Ravens Vs Cincinnati Bengals.
I think this will be closer than people think. This will be an offensive battle between these two teams that are loaded with star power, example being Derrick Henry and Ja'Marr Chase. The Ravens have a Defensive-Minded coach on the other side who will do everything in his power to stop one of the highest powered offenses in the NFL. The Bengals beefed up their defense headlined by Dexter Lawrence who should help their D-Line get a lot more sacks and QBH after they ranked as one of the worst Defensive Lines in the league last year. The Ravens were very underwhelming last year with Lamar Jackson suffering an injury and them going 8-9 Last Year. Despite that, they had a big bright spot in Derrick Henry rushing for 1,595 Rushing Yards and 16 RTDs. Despite their setbacks last year the division still came down to the final game and they only lost by a missed FG from the Kicker. My score prediction, 38-31, Ravens.
Texans Win, Broncos Win, Ravens Win.
1 Seed Vs 4 Seed: Buffalo Bills Vs Houston Texans.
I am very high on the Buffalo Bills this year. Josh Allen has a great reciever with a great RB, a Great O-Line, and a decent defense. We already know he can play like the best QB in the league and is almost consensus the best QB in the league. However, the Texans will not be an easy game for them. Their defense is smothering with a Secondary of Derek Stingley, Kamari Lassiter, and Jalen Pitre. The D-Line has the dynamic duo of Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr. Who will be a hard duo to get past. Josh Allen should be able to help pull this out with the help from D.J Moore, im giving them this game, 35-21, Bills go to the AFC Championship.
2 Seed Vs 3 Seed: Denver Broncos Vs Baltimore Ravens
This one ahould be a battle. The Broncos defense is a massive help since there offense is subpar. The Ravens added a big player to their defense in Trey Hendrickson who should just make their team better. The Lamar Jackson Derrick Henry stack will alway be a threat for the best teams in the league and it will always be a big help. Lamar Jackson is known as a little bit of a playoff choker but i think they will make it for the AFC Championship. Score Prediction, 35-31.
For the AFC/NFC Championships and The SB i will not be writing anything since it would be a lot of things that have been said.
