2026 Kentucky Derby

Today was Donna Brothers' final time covering the Kentucky Derby for NBC. Before the race, Cherie DeVaux said "it is an honor that you get to do your last walkover with me." Brothers told DeVaux, "I'm hoping you become the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby." Well guess what; DeVaux’s Golden Tempo went worst to first in what seemed like a split second. Watching it on the replay and the horse just hit another gear in the last turn and the straight away. Cherie becomes the first female trainer to win the Kentucky Derby in its 152 years. Historic and awesome race.

Absolutely amazing. I called it for Golden tempo to win i saw him in last i was mad and then out of nowhere i see him crossing the finish line 😂
