-.5 for the poor American David Malukas I can't even fathom losing a race by 0.0233 seconds that is beyond devastating. Closest ever Indy 500 in the history of the race. The 110th running goes to Felix Rosenqvist who waited until the final straightaway on the final lap to make a move that will surely go down as one of the best in history of the sport. This is race is one of those sporting events that you have to experience in person in order to appreciate the awesomeness of it all. Modern day television with all their bells and whistles simply can't capture the power and the speed of these cars. I have been fortunate enough to go to 2 of these in my lifetime. It is the single biggest 1 day sporting event in the world in terms of attendance every year with 300,000+ people around and inside the track. I'm telling you it's impossible to comprehend just how big, how loud, and how fast these cars are traveling on a 2D screen. A bucket lister for an sports sicko!
