Ok this tournament was not what I expected it to be at all this weekend. Coming into the weekend every golf fan knew that this tournament was going to favor the best in the world and accurate golfers. Come Thursday it just wasnt that. Clark came out with a 64 on the first day and the tournament was over from there. All the props to Clark... I am not the biggest fan of him but the job he did was something you cant discount on one of the hardest courses in the world... BUTTTT man this tournament did not live up to the hype. Looking at this year it makes me realize how spoiled we were with Pinehurst 2 years ago. At Pinehurst it allowed good golfers to be challenged but also for low scores to be scored. It didnt feel impossible to work with while also not being so easy people were way below par. All the props to Clark and specially Burns for that late push to almost push to a playoff but at the end Clarks win made me feel nothing like I feel it made most golf fans feel in the end.

Ok this makes me feel better I was feeling guilty for not watching a single second of this but tbh it felt like it was very scare on the timeline. Seems like it was for good reason and in addition to the World Cup.
