Revs had some chances, but Houston was the clear better team in this one. They scored late in the first half and again early in the second. The Revs couldn't capitalize on anything and that was that. They stay 3rd in the Eastern Conference, and need to get some wins soon because a Chicago Fire team with a Robert Lewandowski, albeit a washed Lewa, is a very scary team.

The Dynamo were just way better than the Revolution in all aspects tonight. I didn’t expect much from New England, but they still let me down a bit. They didn’t have any good chances, and were entirely focused on defense. Houston would get on the board right at the end of the first half, and they wouldn’t look back. The Dynamo got one more goal not very long after in the second half as they get a very easy road win. New England has a lot of problems that it doesn’t seem like they are very close to solving

At least Jack Harrison looked great. Langoni is injured and leaving anyway, miller is a left back, and zambrano and yow haven’t done anything above replacement level at any point, so the revs really need a good winger who can do something when Carles Gil isn’t creating everything by himself. Houston were incredibly well organized and the revs never had enough urgency to attack the couple times they were scrambling.
