Playoff rematch exceeded the hype. Both teams fought to control the game but the Timbers did a better job, and were unlucky to concede a PK on a handball. Portlands press was effective and they were able to find open space to counter. It was end to end in the second half but Portland looked dangerous on corners and finally scored off a scramble on one in added time to win
