Nashville looked well on their way after Surridge buries a penalty in the 32nd and Mohammed doubles it just 8 minutes later to make it 2-0 right before the half, but DC wasn’t folding — comes out firing to start the second half, chips away, and Baribo levels it in the 77th to snatch a point on the road. Tough one for Nashville to see slip after being in complete control for 45 minutes, but credit to DC for the fight

Great comeback by DC, but I still hate ties. I was expecting Nashville to really run away with this game, and it was looking like they were. Sam Surridge would score on a penalty in the 32nd minute from a penalty which was quickly followed by a Shakur Mohammed goal in the 40th minute! Those two goals in quick succession right before halftime knocked DC down, but it didn’t knock them out! They would answer back just 11 minutes into the next half to cut their deficit in half, and they would tie it back up in the 77th minute off the boot of Tai Baribo! That would be all for both teams as DC steals a win from Nashville!
