Good first half, bad second half. Carles Gil gets us started on a pen and then Turgeman a few minutes later, but the defense fell apart in the first 15 minutes of the second half costing the Revolution a win. Revs had more chances in this game by far but just couldn't convert. Turner made a few solid saves but couldn't keep those two out and this one ends in a draw. Drawing a game where the xG is four to less than one just shows how badly the Revs were at capitalizing on their chances in this game.

This was an amazing effort from Montreal to bounce back and force a tie! I will once again complain about there not being a winner, but this game was on the higher end of ties! New England was the way better team all game. They had the vast majority of chances and they score showed it after the first half. It was 2-0 Revolution and they didn’t really show signs of stopping, but Montreal would come storming back to start the second half! They would bring it within 1 in just 7 minutes, and they would have it tied in just another 7 minutes! They weren’t out of the woods just yet though as New England would get some stellar chances late in this game, but the Montreal goaltender was there to stop the all! Great fight from CF Montreal to earn a point!
