This was a fun comeback win for Chicago! These teams were fairly evenly matched, but the Fire would be the team with the better chances. That wouldn’t stop Charlotte from opening the scoring in the 18th minute though! That would give Charlotte their first and only lead of the night as Chicago would have it tied back up within the next 2 minutes! Both teams were content with staying like that for a while, but Chicago would be the first to make their move! Pretty early into the second half the Fire would take their first lead on the night. There would be some more opportunities for both sides and a great push from Charlotte right at the end, but Chicago would be able to hold them off for the fun win! Robert Lewandowski scored twice in his home debut for the Fire!
