Portland stuns the Sounders yet again! This rivalry is always fun, even if Seattle has been struggling lately. Seattle would take the early lead and have a big push after that, but that lead didn’t last! Near the end of the first half, the Timbers would tie this game back up, and this set up a pretty fun second half! There would be some really great opportunities for both sides in a very back-and-forth next 45 minutes, but it would ultimately be the Timbers taking the very late lead! Brandon Bye would score the dagger in the 82nd minute as Portland would sweep the season series against their rival! That is a 6th straight loss for a floundering Seattle side!
