Messi's first game since the passing of his father. He had a chance to tie the game in the 23rd minute with a pk, but was blocked making it his 3rd straight pk miss. Nashville took complete control in the 2nd half highlighted by Hany Mukhtar scoring twice in 7 minutes. Nashville stays in 1st of the East and Miami has now lost 3 straight with their Leagues Cup losses last week

Nashville gets the win in dominant fashion! I was expecting a better game from the top two teams in the east, but Nashville made sure that didn’t happen. This game would be tied at the half thanks to a Miami goal in first half stoppage time though! Then Nashville really put their foot down. Nashville got three goals before the 63rd minute as Miami wasn’t able to answer any more. What a showing from Nashville!
