This game got a lot scarier than I’m sure the Fire were hoping at the end, but Chicago is still able to close this one out! Chicago got this game going in the best way possible by getting the opening goal in the first 10 minutes, and scoring a brace before the 15 minute mark! This game would be pretty even after that with the Fire being mostly on cruise control, but the Timbers made Chicago sweat it out at the end! Portland was able to finally break through within the final 5 minutes before stoppage time, and make this a game! Portland made a big push to even this game and they got very close at times, but the Fire survive with the full three points! Chicago wins a fun one!
