It’s a party in Brighton today!! What a way to start the season my god. Completely suffocated Aston Villa in the first half, forced them to make costly mistakes, but ultimately capitalized over being the clearly better team today. They play fast, in unison, have a strong midfield. I had high expectations for them, but it might exceed them playing like this

Aston Villa what the hell happened? I expected playing Champions League ball would make it a tough season for them but I presumed that would happen when the Champions League ball actually started, not now. An own goal less than 8 minutes into the season, then another goal, then allowing the same guy to score twice in the span of a minute, then getting a guy sent off. ALL IN THE FIRST HALF!!!!! Just absolutely brutal for Aston Villa, cannot let that happen.

Great start to the season! Villa had a chance to take a 1-0 lead on us early on a mistake, but they didn’t capitalise on it. Then we capitalised on one of their mistakes and took an early 1-0 lead. In that first half we kept fighting, taking a 4-0 lead in 30 minutes. Even while injuries are evident (minteh and mitoma), we still played great.

What a horrid showing from Aston Villa. They did get booked for a red card with a lot of game left to play, but they gave up all of the goals before that. It started with an own goal within the first 10 minutes, and Brighton never slowed down after that. They were able to pour on three more goals, which includes a pair of goals from Jack Hinshelwood well before the first half was through. That red card definitely didn’t help late, but Aston Villa was already doing so poorly that it really didn’t matter. Crazy dominant win for Brighton & Hove Albion

Judging by the average rating on here, I thought this would be the first goalless game of the Premier League season, but it was absolutely not that at all and it all happened in the first half
The seagulls got their favourite food, battered footballers
a FIFA/video game scoreline of 4-0 and a red card to boot an absolute smashing smashing grab from Brighton he completely outclassed the Europa League champions
