I vividly remember this game
I was gutted. We went into Ames as 13.5 point underdogs against #9 Iowa State and almost took it. Future Bronco, RJ Harvey goes for 196 and 2 TDs, Brown adds 154 on the ground, and Marshall picks off Becht for a 70-yard return that just comes up short of the end zone.
All that just for Becht to drive down the field for the go-ahead score with 30 seconds left, converts the 2-point try, and Williams seals it with a pick on our final drive
