iowa always plays tough, gritty, and has that don’t quit mentality that i one going into this game it’d be a tough matchup.
this was our first test of the season, i mean you can see it on fernando’s winning pass to elijah. guy is praising god that something happened going towards his favor, was getting pummeled all game, made a bad throw in a crucial point of the game, had cuts on his elbows, and was still able to lead his team down the field in a tough environment against a ferocious group of midwestern kids.
defense continues to set the tone right out of the gate.

So is Iowa just super underrated or would you call Indiana overhyped? Either way, it made a pretty damn good game. Ngl, I was really hoping for an awesome story when Hank Brown came in for Mark ‘not quite Gronkowski’ Gronowski. But Brown in that final drive showed why he is the backup, particularly with missing on that final throw. Heartbreaker, but Indiana avoids the upset. They also do the deliberate time waste safety which I low-key love. Also, holy cow Sarratt had a hell of a day, 132 yards receiving yards, over half of his QB’s passing yards were to him. My rating also suffers because my stream straight up stopped working for most of the 2nd half.
