Penn State caps off a shocking regular season with a win in a crazy game against Rutgers. This at least got them to 6-6, enough for a bowl game, although going into the season with expectations of playing in a playoff bowl game, that was little consolation.

When the 2 teams you completely forgot about start to ball, you turn on the game and watch them ball. This is what rivalry week is all about... ball when you need to ball.

Penn State 40, Rutgers 36. That was the most fun a Penn State/Rutgers game could ever be. 40-36 final, probably close to 1,000 yards of offense combined. Rutgers offense played really well, that running back is awesome. And I thought Allen and Singleton from Penn States side really shined in their last game. I’m excited to see Penn State in a bowl game, I know it’s not going to be a good one but they should get a big name at least.
