This game got off to a high scoring start in the first quarter, and South Alabama led 21-14. The next two quarters didn’t have nearly as much scoring, as South Alabama led 28-17 in the third quarter. Georgia State scored two touchdowns to start the 4th quarter and complete a 17-0 run to take a 31-28 lead. But then South Alabama responded with 10 unanswered points including a game winning touchdown with less than two minutes left to get their first FBS win
