That was soooooo disappointing. North Texas started hot, but their defense couldn’t stop Tulane and they had so many mistakes. On top of that, Caleb Hawkins got hurt early and the refs made some truly despicable calls that gave Tulane 2 free touchdowns. North Texas got it going late, but it just wasn’t enough. Tulane makes the playoffs

UNT starts out well but loses momentum with many turnovers by a solid Tulane defense and questionable replay reviews.

Refs making questionable calls out there. UNT not helping themselves with all the turnovers and sloppy defense.

North Texas turned the ball over 4 times and Tulane capitalized on those opportunities with 21 points and took a 31-7 lead. North Texas tried to mount a comeback but it was too little too late and Tulane is probably going to the CFP. This was also Tulane’s 4th straight AAC title game appearance.

I will admit upfront this rating comes with the sting of disappointment. I had very high hopes for this game. North Texas was arguably the best offense in all of college football while Tulane has been quite the chaotic (and fun) team the last few seasons (shoutout MVOS). So I was very hopeful that this game could be a shootout. I thought this game would be filled with entertaining pandemonium. Although that was technically partially true as there were some flashy offensive plays, the game itself disappointed as the Green Wave took the reins early and never let go. North Texas tried to knock them off their high horse, but they could never close the gap to add any drama. The most drama we got was an awful call after a review that gave Tulane a TD that should’ve been a touchback. Although, I would be remiss to ignore North Texas’s final push in the 4th quarter. However, I will admit l that I didn’t think they could pull it off, even when they got to the redzone.

I love watching this Angry Wave team do their thing. I’m concerned about Sumrall bringing that offense to Florida - won’t be as fun seeing them in the SEC.

Game was a tough watch, bounces kept not going north Texas’ way. Defence couldn’t stop the run at all, which has been a story all year, but I really thought there offence was gonna carry like it has all year. I should’ve known how good retzlaf is at running that it was gonna be an issue, north Texas stayed alive near the end that touchback after the fumble that the north Texas QB forced was sick but too bad they didn’t end up winning (I also have bet on north Texas all year so I kinda had to bet on them)

this was very surprising. I was very high on north Texas, but they just gave up a lead early on and couldn’t come back. Great game by Tulane

Tulane looked dominate, north Texas cane back to make it look closer than it truly was. Jake is an amazing qb stepping into Tulane late in the off-season.

This gets a 6.7 because it was an elite uniform game…Tulane was rocking UNT but the Mean Green didn’t give up.
