People have no idea what this means for the people in Indiana. I’ve heard from many people who had to sit through the worst football program ever, and they cannot believe the life they live. I was told by my uncle that they beat the ghost of Bear Bryant and the spirit of Nick Saban. I was told by another person I know that this has been their dream of the last 50 years. Obviously UK and IU don’t like each other at all, but I enjoy seeing them have this. It’s not slander to admit that they haven’t had much in the past few decades. Loserville got that title, stripped, Cincinnati made the CFP a while back, and Indiana pulled this one off. I don’t hate it for them. I know people very close to me that ride or die for these schools, I’m very sure that’s how they consider me with Kentucky. Truth of the matter is, I get tired of suffering from a success all the time. I always like to share that feeling. If it means IU wins, happy for my friends and family. If it means Bama loses, happy for me.

I said this in the live chat and I stand by it. A sexy blowout is better than a sloppy one. No matter how many innuendoes that creates, it is my truth. The first quarter was tight, but after that, Indiana absolutely railroaded the Crimson Tide. In the process, they not only broke the ‘first round bye’ curse, but they also continued the streak of supposed “best-on-best games” being disappointing. Bama was able to take advantage of a complacent Oklahoma squad but they could not do the same tonight. Indiana eviscerated Bama’s hopes and dreams in a blowout unthinkable during the Nick Saban era outside of a couple times against Clemson and LSU. Bama used 3 QBs and they all played like crap. Mendoza vindicated his Heisman Trophy by playing an efficient and mistake-free game to make life easy for his backfield of Hemby and Black to run rampant. Especially impressive considering Alabama immediately put him on his heels with a heavy blitz game plan, but the Hoosiers adjusted and dominated.

The Rose Bowl the pageantry of college football. Pasadena California is the location for this CFP battle of crimson. And the IU Hoosiers killed the Alabama Crimson Tide in one that was never close. Ty Chimpson needs to pack it up. Mr Cignetti stares down his next opponent knowing he is inches closer to a national title. Its a shame this one wasn't close.

THE ROSE BOWL, SEYMOUR THE ROSE BOWL!!! (That reference was so nerdy and I’m sure nobody will get it but I don’t care). Alabama gets taught a LESSON by Indiana and Nick Saban had to exist in his own personal hell watching that go down in person and not being able to do anything about it. Happy to see Indiana win, I’m rooting for em.
