WE FINALLY HAD A GOOD CFP GAME TODAY. Saved the best quarter final game for last. I’m officially deeming Ole Miss the Lane Kiffin revenge tour. While this was a close game through 3 quarters, I’d say it was in Georgia’s favour. Georgia had all the momentum going into halftime after that Lacy fumble recovery and TD. Instead, Chambliss absolutely went off and put himself into Sugar Bowl lore. He threw 13 straight completions, breaking the Sugar Bowl record previously held by Tim Tebow. Chambliss’s heroics along with Lacy’s redemption arc looked like they would carry Ole Miss to victory, but Kirby Smart’s Georgia isn’t known for being easy to beat. They finally slow down Chambliss with help from a missed facemask and then drive it down on a tired Ole Miss defense. It looked like OT was coming, but Chambliss made 1 more big play to ensure it would end in and Carneiro set Ole Miss’s single season scoring record with the game winner. The shenanigans at the end drag down an all-time classic.

New Year, same teams. Dawgs just replaced the Knicks Game 1 loss of the ECF at the top for most crushing loss of the year and we’re 1 day in….How long will it last? What was that ending?? So many questions. Lane Kiffin deserves to watch this Ole Miss team go all the way. What a game. Gutted.

Easily the 2026 Game of the Year, despite some (correctly called) ref shenanigans at the end of it all.
This game had practically everything you'd want out of a football game. Great offense, defense, special teams, and some big, BIG hits. Ole Miss made Gunner Stockton look like Dolph Ziggler with the spears he was taking.
Won't be surprised if we don't get another game this good in the playoffs.

Trinidad Chambliss and Lucas Carniero cement themselves in ole miss history with that last drive. Great fight from Stockton and the dawgs but it's not enough. Amazing games from Chambliss and Wallace II. Refball shenanigans at the end bring the score down ever so slightly though.
