Ah shit… here we go again… call me spoiled as a football fan but considering how last year went.. beating New Mexico State by 17 is worrying to say the least. We were like 30+ point favorites and the score was 17-7 at half. Halfway through the 4th New Mexico cut the lead to 10 and we thankfully added an insurance touchdown to win the game. SMU next week terrifies me.
Side note: taking a step back I was looking at Napoli and other soccer teams Facebook and insta pages yesterday and I thought it was so funny how fans seemed like such doomers two games into the season even when drawing or losing to a quality opponent. And here I am bitching about my team winning by 17 points😂sports fans are really universally the same😂💯

Loved what DarthPlague had to say about this game. Yes, Florida State won, but not impressively at all. They still have so far to go before they can even think about being competitive. New Mexico State performed well in this game and Florida State just didn't dominate in a game that contending teams dominate in.

Florida State obviously won, but I don’t think this is a promising sign at all. They were really struggling, and they let New Mexico State hang in there. The Aggies had some pretty good drives which ended with nothing that really could’ve changed this game. The Seminoles were able to do enough though as they stress through a win. I’m convinced that Florida State is going to stay at the bottom of the ACC
