*Arnold Sacked again*

Such a great game and my 2nd favorite of this Week 0. The first 3 quarters were full of elite offense, huge plays and a couple long touchdowns. After a down season at Auburn, Jackson Arnold looked incredible. Unfortunately, the 4th quarter was nowhere near as entertaining. Mainly thanks to the defenses, 3 huge sacks on 3rd downs on 3 straight drives to force turnovers. UNLV had one last stop with just over a minute left and a chance at a drive down the field with no timeouts, but Memphis' D-Line stepped up again with back to back sacks on 2nd and 3rd down and then a throw short of the first down ended it. Elijah Kinsler with 2.5 sacks has to be the Player of the Game in my opinion. Huge win for Memphis and a huge boost in their playoff hopes.

VERY entertaining game to cap off the final week 0. Had a little bit of everything with a back and forth offensive part, a defensive showing, and a sluggish tug-of-war between two teams that are still very good. Looking like a good season ahead.

This was an awesome win for Memphis! This game started in a pretty unassuming fashion, but boy did it pick up as it went along! Both of these teams were going blow for blow with each other through the middle quarters of this game with touchdown after touchdown! Memphis had the edge going into the fourth quarter though as they hit a field goal right before it started! They got another field goal soon after, and their defense took it from there! UNLV got one good drive in the fourth, but they turned it over on downs and the Memphis defense forced a couple three-and-outs to secure the win! UNLV had their chances, but Memphis gets a very strong opening win on the road!

Solidly entertaining game and a very interesting result. Memphis looked every bit the part of a CFP contender and an AAC favorite. Incredible performance from their D-line.

Jackson Arnold looked like he was on a career renaissance in this 1st half and then Memphis’ pass rush just went fucking nuclear

Great game a stalled drive for UNLV late was the difference maker in this one. No college football for 5 days what am I supposed to do with myself?

Charles Huff is so fucking funny dude, I’ve never seen a head coach get an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Kudos to Memphis for an amazingly played game. It’s a shame that UNLV’s chances crashed when their center got knocked out. If he’s out long-term? I’d be worried for the rest of their season. That O-Line was tenderized afterwards.

Best game of week 0 by far. Just loved this one. I really like memphis each and every year.

Great game. I am betting Arnold is wishing he went somewhere that could actually protect him! Those 6 sacks were rough!!! There was specifically a play where the line just looked like they all went to block each other and let 3 guys get straight through. Fun late night week 0 game!

Great game, and strong start for Memphis. I was nervous UNLV was going to start to dominate but Memphis just kept the pressure for a great competitive week 0 game.
