Ending the Geno era how it started was retrospectively bittersweet. Yes, we didn’t know it was coming to a close, but it was. I’m thankful for Denver more than anybody, maybe even their own fans, between that trade, and the first and last Geno matchup, we just had nothing but fun. Oh, they absolutely hated it, but who cares, we both went 14-3 next season, so we either made up for it or got over it. Thanks for being bad guys, thanks for giving us everything we have too, this was fun. Excited to run it back this year!
