The fact that I was falling asleep while trying to watch this game speaks to how boring it was sometimes, CMC took over in a lower scoring game, disappointing for the falcons, great job by the 9ers. Falcons should rebound vs dolphins who they play next, 49ers should easily take down the Texans, we'll see who's playing for the 49ers come that time

A really grindy and close game, that ended in a slightly anti-climactic way. They say Football is a game of inches, but I would like to add to that quote. ‘Football is a game of inches and decisions’. The Falcons blowing an opportunity to score and potentially get a TD before halftime and after they got a crucial turnover, cost them dearly. Meanwhile, CMC basically getting pulled into the end zone (and no flag being thrown) in the 4th to make it a 2 possession game and seal up the win. Sucks a missed call basically decided it, but CMC was doing WAY more than just pulling his weight before that play. 100 yards on the ground while accounting for almost half of Mac Jones’s passing yards makes you the MVP of your team in my book. I was generally impressed with Penix, but both of his final drives to end the halves disappointed me greatly.

The Falcons took a 3-0 lead in the second quarter but the 49ers responded with 13 unanswered points points to take a 13-3 lead in the third quarter. The Falcons responded with a touchdown to make it 13-10 with 6:28 left in the third. After that there was no scoring until a touchdown by Christian McCaffery with 2:26 left to ice it. The 49ers are tied for first in the NFC West with the Rams.
