Fantastic division matchup and the definition of a scrappy game. The Vikings have plenty to be happy with after this game. Brian Flores’s defense had Goff on his heels pretty much all game long. All that pressure and hard nosed defensive play got them a fumble out of it, recovered by stalwart Harrison Smith that changed the game from a neck and neck matchup to a game that favoured Minnesota. Couple that with a blocked field goal and I thought the Vikings had this one sealed up. But never count out the Dan Campbell Lions. They did their best to mount the comeback and a huge play from Jameson Williams set them up with a chance to tie it up, they just needed a stop. But JJ McCarthy, who was returning from injury and to Michigan for the first time since his college years, made the clutch throws he had to, including the 3rd down conversion that sealed it to Jordan Addison. JJettas and Aaron Jones also balled out. The Vikings bit the kneecaps of the kneecap biters.

Pretty entertaining game, sucks that the lions lost tho, sometimes I think the bye week is more of a negative thing than a positive thing, impressive by the vikings. It doesn't get any easier vs the commanders next week, vikings face a tough test vs ravens in what should be a good matchup next week
