After a wonderful day of football, the final game was disappointing and then became a big downer. Seahawks had control from the get-go but they really started dominating in the 2nd quarter and that continued into the 2nd half. Sam Darnold had a great night, throwing 4 touchdowns while his receivers, especially JSN, were gashing the Commanders’ defense repeatedly. On the other side, the Seahawks defense was crushing the Commies’ offense, sacking Jayden Daniels repeatedly and making sure the Commanders never found a groove. But this game went from simply one-sided to tragic when Jayden Daniels got hurt. I’m a firm believer that you should never root for injuries unless the athlete in question is an awful person off-the-field. Safe to say, Jayden is a good dude and not awful; so watching him get hurt immediately made this game lose a point, just for the bad vibes. Hope he gets well soon, the NFL is better with more healthy talent, especially fun guys like Jayden.
