Maybe the 2 best running backs this season go head-to-head. While both of them played well, Jonathon Taylor was clearly the better back today. Even if you took away Taylor’s 83 yard touchdown run, he still out-rushed Bijan. In fact, Jonathon Taylor nearly broke the Colts franchise record that he set for rushing yards in a game (9 yards away). That matchup aside, this was just an awesome close game, minus the immense confusion at the end of regulation where they couldn’t figure out if it was finished or if there was a second left. Fortunately all the great football outweighs that brief anti-climax. Despite the interception, Jones made the throws he had to, including a big conversion and 20 yard pass to Warren in OT. Penix was fine but I hate to keep harping on it, but again, the final drive stalls and is ruined because of an intentional grounding. Drake London was terrific, Jalon Walker applied a ton of pressure and Bates was a demon. That Falcons defense just couldn’t stop JT/the MVP.

This game really exceeded expectations going I didn’t think it would be awful but the Colts bounces back still have some questions but Johnathon Taylor is def not one of them he should be in more mvp talks the Falcons played like trap game Falcons in the first 3 quarters and like usual Falcons in the 4th and OT the Falcons have some good building points off this game and the Colts escape with a win heading into a regrouping bye week
