This game lived up to the hype. The Chiefs were on the cusp of losing 3 in a row for the first time in the Mahomes era and Mahomes had never beaten the Colts, one of those streaks was gonna send tonight. KC cent down early, but completed the comeback in overtime to keep themselves firmly in playoff contention. Much more of a slugfest than a shootout but nonetheless entertaining. Daniel Jones may have outplayed Mahomes, but even stranger and more definitive, Kareem Hunt outdueled Jonathon Taylor. It was the defenses dictating this game, lots of bending and not breaking from both sides. The Colts defense looked especially impressive throughout, but capitulated at the worst possible time and the Chiefs walked away with a valuable win off an OT finish. Felt like Bolton was everywhere, always involved somehow and Rashee Rice almost accounted for half of Mahomes’s passing yards.
