Here I am once again rooting for Mariota to win the game for the Commanders and I am once again falling to my knees in sadness. Luckily we got a kick-ass game out of it. Despite the questionable officiating, this was a back and forth slugfest. The Commanders found a counter punch to everything Denver threw at them until the very end until Nik Bonitto rejected Mariota’s pass on the 2 point conversion to seal it for Denver. It was just a small part of a terrific performance for Bonitto. In fact, while the defense clearly got worn down by this very end, they made a bunch of massive plays. Alex Singleton’s punch out during the Commanders’ final drive in the 4th could’ve been the nail in the coffin had Washington not converted a 4th down. Zach Ertz dropping key passes didn’t help, but again, Washington regrouped and fired back every time, never giving up. It felt like a movie, right up until the very end. Reality is cruel. But the ride was fun as hell.

You will almost NEVER seeing me enjoy a commanders loss but this may have been my favorite commanders game of the season or at least top 3 win or lose Marriotta balled out terry balled out heck even Trenton Burks balled out I just now respect the broncos but overall this game was peak we played great and we tank in the loss peak game!
