The Saints have life in them finally. Shough looks like a QB who can start next year and the offense seems to be good around him. The Panthers shouldn’t have even let that be close, this should’ve been a blowout. Canales needs to lock in because if he doesn’t he’s gonna drop these last three games and get fired. Embarrassing.

Amazing how the turn tables. Right when the Panthers need a win to take the division lead, they lose to the Saints of all teams. But this Panthers defense deserves a ton of credit. Sure, it’s the Saints, not exactly a threatening offense, but it’s not like Bryce Young was hanging onto the ball, although Jalen Coker picked the right day to have his best game. For a defense that was one of the bottom 5 worst last season, they’ve become a rock solid group and they made a ton of big plays today. Wonnum with 2 sacks and Derrick Brown being the monster he’s always been were major reasons why. Chris Olave made his case for a contender to trade for him in the offseason in this one, basically carrying the final Saints TD drive on his own. With the division lead in the line; Bryce Young couldn’t come through and the Panthers punted to Shough who did come through, with a massive assist from a flag on a QB slide. I do not care if it’s the right call, it is such a crappy way to end this game.
