Low scoring game... Not worth it

Final score was competitive but the game itself wasn’t really. Tampa seemingly controlled everything, Baker looked good (other than that awful pick), and the fact that I may have to watch this Panthers team in the playoffs is going to be so frustrating.

big game Baker! lol nah this was a wet one and not much happened outside of a botched flea flicker and the fact that Otton was unstoppable. Everyone waiting for this next game anyways this was just the appetizer.

This game is like JV football while the Varsity plays in just a few minutes (I know JV happens on Saturdays the day after Varsity) Big win for the Bucs who are looking to get that final playoff spot in the NFC. Bryce Young had a Cam Newton fumble moment which was good for laughs (sorry Panthers fans). Now the good news for them is if the Falcons win tomorrow they will be in the playoffs. If not this loss decided that.

For all the hype this game had as essentially a play-in for the NFC South, it was quite disappointing imo. To get it out of the way, the officiating was not good, no questions asked imo. I wouldn’t say it ruined the game for me, but it definitely hurt it, even if only a little bit. More importantly, this game had its fair share of sloppiness and both teams took turns in the slop. First it was Tampa after starting hot and getting momentum snatched from them. Then Carolina floundered as they tried and failed to cut the deficit. I will say this game definitely got better down the stretch. Panthers scored to cut the deficit, Bucs converted a couple big 1st downs to keep the ball and I even got to pretend the Panthers had any hope on that final play. Plus Maddie’s favourite Panthers player scored a TD. However, despite the genuine good, I can’t shake the feeling of disappointment and I hope the Falcons-Saints rivalry makes up for it as one of them tries to play spoiler.

flea flicker in the red zone with the rain coming down in sheets was certainly a choice…gross game that was buoyed by some divisional stakes and ultimately falls in the hands of the one and only; Tyler Shough.

This game will forever be funny due to the fact that it ended with both teams having to root for other bad teams so that one of them, at 8-9, would make the playoffs. I love this strange, strange league

This game was trudging through lifeless play calls and a defense that couldn’t get out of their own way. But the Bucs won, so it works out in the end. Not fun to be irritated the whole time.

This game was the equivalent of watching paint dry. Are we sure one of these teams needs to be in the playoffs?
