And so ends the long awaited tale of Trevor Lawerence’s return to the postseason. I think the AFC should be worried, Jacksonville and all the “little guys” are getting harder to beat. I mean, it took a double digit yard long tush push to prevent them. We now know we can’t always have a Burrow or Mahomes to take the lead, so could Jacksonville be something in the future? Who knows? I have faith, even if they reek of being fraudulent in general.

Heart-stopping anti-climax. The haves vs. The have-nots. Josh Allen and the Bills give it another go at finally ending their pain while Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars return to the playoffs for the first time since 2021 when nobody saw them coming. The haves held on. Believe it or not, this game is tied for the most 4th quarter lead changes in postseason history. It certainly didn’t feel like it, if that makes sense. Still a great game, don’t get me wrong. It was slow going for both teams, then got *it* going in the 2nd quarter. Pace slowed back down in the 3rd and then really picked up in the 4th. Slow starts with great 4th quarters has been a theme all season long across the NFL. Speaking of unexpected and fun anti-climaxes, the most important play of this game was O’Cyrus Torrence literally carrying Josh Allen in his arms for a 10 yard gain on 4th and 1. It Allowed the Bills to later score with an Allen run and forced the Jags to pass on their final drive which the Bills shut down.

Wow, Josh Allen is a superhuman freak? I’m shocked. Let’s be real, we should’ve all seen this coming. Liam Coen’s Jags have been incredibly sus all year. That doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have won this game, at home on an eight game win streak. The defense was just pitiful while the Bills defense made the offense one dimensional. Tre’Davious White also had a nice redepmtion story by recementing his place in the Bills secondary after being cut by them last year and bouncing around the league. Expect the Bills to make it to the AFC Championship at the very least.

Tough draw for Jacksonville. Great season but the Bills are moving on. I think the Bills have a great opportunity to not only beat Denver next week, but win the AFC title game and go to the Super Bowl. Jacksonville will be back next season. They have a great future. Overall, a very good game and another close and back and forth game. This years NFL playoffs have been great so far.
