The Broncos would either ride or die in this one. They chose both. This game should’ve been a 9 or maybe a 10. However, the refs just had to fuck this up in the final moments. Two pass interferences calls, one that I thought was fair and another that was total BS decided this game in OT. What should’ve been an all-time classic has been sullied. Automatically gets a boost because we got a big man TD thanks to Frank Crum catching a pass and running it into the end zone. Allen got out of his funk in the 2nd half and had a perfect throw to Kincaid for Buffalo’s first lead since the early 2nd quarter. Bo Nix then had a legacy drive and throw to take the lead and Allen sent it to OT where all that… mess happened. Despite my complaints, this game was a blast to watch, until the end. Josh Allen and Bo Nix played their hearts out despite their mistakes and we got plenty of big plays to wow at. It just a shame that when I see this game in highlight packages after this season, I’ll only think BS.

Sometimes I have to take a step back and appreciate the fact that I moved to a sports town and just be happy about it. For context, I had to go to my grand-aunt’s birthday dinner tonight. 4th quarter was going on, and everyone was looking at a few people’s phone’s streaming the game. We all PAUSED ordering to watch that FG. The whole restaurant cheered. Building lights on my way home were orange and blue. Hell, even people at the courthouse I work at were wearing Broncos stuff yesterday. Say what you want, but I really really love living in a sports town, and I’m so glad that I get to finally be with my teams and a city that cares just as much as I do. I’m absolutely devastated about Bo, but I can’t help but be proud of this team. Let’s ride.

I don’t care what happened after the game, during it, it was amazing. Now, there was one little-huge mistake, without even mentioning it, I will say, it did change everything. But truthfully, I don’t consider it affecting the outcome of the playoffs as a whole. Just was a bit annoying, even if you think it was good. I think with everything we got, I can manage.

If I had rated right after the game this probably gets a 9.5 but obviously I waited and then heard the news about Bo and so now I'm faced with the reality that our Super Bowl chances rest on the shoulder of a QB who has 4 total starts in his career. I appreciate Sean Payton immediately delivering the news to the media and how he attempted to make light of a clearly dire situation. This season of Broncos football has brought me and my family so much joy and honestly we've grown closer because of it. When you grow up in Colorado you don't really have many options for sports teams (Rockies, Buffs, Nuggets, Broncos) and outside of the Nuggets these teams are pretty abysmal. No matter what happens next week I'll always remember this season and Bo Nix is a major reason why. Rest up Ten, we'll be here when you're ready. Let's Ride!!!!
