Objectively this was even worse than last year’s Super Bowl but guess what? My number 1 most hated team just lost at the hands of my former QB. Not even close. The slow and suffering kind of loss that I’ve grown accustomed to for my Jets. This goes green for Sammy D. Good guys win for once.

What a team. What a ride. You gotta love these guys. I can’t even think of a one-liner joke review for this. That might be because the game was kinda meh, though.

Watching this with my youth group kids was a blessing. Seeing the 15 of them that were there enjoy themselves so much and get into the game was a joy. I love what I do for my church. Furthermore, Sam Darnold has completed the greatest redemption story in NFL history: draft bust to Super Bowl champion. I could cry. I am so overjoyed for him. Best Super Bowl Sunday of my life.

This was a grindy defensive battle with shades of Super Bowl 53 but this version was worse. At least 53 was close, this game was not except for like 5 minutes where we all thought the Pats had a chance until Maye threw his 1st interception. This was a blowout and a well-deserved victory for Seattle. The only offensive player that could get any sustained momentum was Kenneth Walker himself in Seahawks and Super Bowl lore with the 9th most rushing yards in a SB ever. The Dark Side were clearly the star outside of that and put themself into the greatest defenses of all time discussions. The Seahawks pass rush was clearly overwhelming the Pats’ O-line that just didn’t look ready and it had Maye frazzled all game, confirming the O-line benefitted the most from the easy schedule. For the Pats’ Christian Gonzalez was the obvious stand out. Shutting down JSN and making multiple massive plays. Too bad the rest of his team didn’t come to play like he did. Congrats Mike MacDonald, you deserve it.

The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be… unnatural. And this motherfucking game was unnatural I regret having eyes after this shit goddamn, these patches fucking sucked, this goddamn game was the biggest clusterfuck on national television I have ever seen. I have no idea how Sam Darnold is the first qb from the class to win a Super Bowl and now he’s in his interview saying “I know we just won but the offense could have been better” motherfucker is on his way to bring a coach goddamn. This game sucked balls. Don’t even get me started on that dogshit halftime show Jesus ah Christ. Drake “Drake Maye” Maye my ass. Holy shit that was so bad I could write a 5 page essay. And motherfucker Kenneth Walker won MVP fuck the only reason I didn’t go right to bed was cause I was hoping Jason fucking Meyers would follow the footsteps of Mark Mosley and win MVP goddamn it this game was now completely fucking terrible I am genuinely regretting my life choices fuck

Some people would consider this a strange comment to make, but I’m very thankful that that young man caught that interception on the 1-yard line all those years ago. Why would somebody be thankful for that? As I’ve grown over the years, and especially since that moment, which was very emotional for little me, I’ve been through a lot, at the end of the day, I returned to these teams as a piece of me to get over what I’ve been through, through the week, through the day, through the years. And they had evolved as I did. It has brought me closer to everyone I know, I think taking these teams and being so opinionated all those years ago, even as a youngster, really drove me to what became the best days of my life. I used to get hated on every day, I used to get reminded of that 1-yard line always, and it was expected. I have no problem with it, but from the lowest point in my life to the highest, I’m glad I can say today, that they put those motherfuckers in their goddamn place. We are 12.
