i waited far too long to watch the king throw the football again and he didn't disappoint. really feels like a brand new era with a new stadium, new head coach and two new coordinators. still a very solid showing from both sides of the ball. love seeing dj moore get the ball a lot and seeing keon score. hope that improves his confidence going into the season. also always a fan of frank gore jr

The Bills used two quarterbacks named Allen to dominate the Panthers. The best parts were Josh Allen’s cameo and the Frank Gore Jr. emergence. It’s crazy to think Frank Gore Sr. wasn’t far away from playing with his son. Preseason games are already at a disadvantage because I don’t care about them outside of seeing players young and old potentially make their mark and earn their spot. That was part of why I enjoyed seeing Frank Gore’s son. However, this game didn’t have much going for it beyond that. The best moment was Kani Walker clearly immediately identifying the Panthers’ play and rushing to intercept the pass. I know these decisions come down to much more than a single play, but a play like that surely does wonders for an undrafted free agent’s chances of making the team. That play along with Allen’s cameo does keep this game out of the red. I just can’t put it much higher than bare minimum yellow. Remember when Trask was a promising QB? I do. Those days feel like years ago tho.

The Josh Allen-DJ Moore duo is already looking scary. Only 8 pass attempts from Allen and he surpassed 100 yards, 61 to DJ Moore, and a touchdown to Keon Coleman. Certainly a good sign for the Bills.
Just a nothing burger from Bryce Young today, 3/5, 18 yards, really nothing interesting there.
