I refuse to watch the Browns if Watson starts. This is not because of anything off the field, but completely because of the fact he is just awful. That fumble was just kinda sad. Anyone who watched the game knows he looked very mid and will not win this team any actually close games.

Immediate downside: I had to watch Deshaun Watson and remember he still exists. Even worse, the Bears defense made him look competent. Thankfully, the Bears woke up and gave us a feel-good story with Salvon Ahmed’s touchdown coming off a foot injury and most importantly, the Browns lost. Not only did they lose, they got wrecked after the 1st quarter. I know wins and losses don’t matter here, but it’s the principle. I just wish Watson had thrown a pick. Partially because I never want him to play, but also because the optics wouldn’t look so bad for Shedeur and Dillon Gabriel. Unlike some people, I don’t hate Shedeur, but I worry if he has made significant strides in his game. He’s still tough and can make the occasional nice play, but he has more bad plays than good ones. Gabriel is just nothing tbh, which is also not good. Cleveland is so screwed while Chicago has seemingly escaped the darkness. Ironically the Bears had more QBs than bad ones. Plus Kromah was fantastic rushing the QB.

I think we may be in for a long year. Hopefully our rookie linemen and receivers turn out even if the QB play sucks.

Hey winning a preseason game is better than losing a preseason game. I enjoyed today though it was humid.

Browns only scored in the 1st Quarter and went scoreless the rest of the game in typical Browns fashion. All QB’s looked questionable with Watson being the slight edge from the bunch, just no depth in any passes. Looking like another long year for the Browns

Massage Watson takes the lead in the quarterback competition, at least as far as preseason goes. 11/15 for 126 yards while Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel, albeit on less attempts, threw for much less yards and an interception each. I think people forget how good Deshaun Watson was with the Texans. Led the NFL with 4,823 passing yards in 2020, passed 4,000 in 2018 and came very close in 2019. Obviously that was over 5 years ago, but there still has to be some of that left in him, right?

A lot of actions for the bears in this game Concepcion looked great Coats with the pick, Case Keenum masterclass, Miller moss didn’t look too great salvon ahmed looked decent same with Maurice Alexander and Kaden Davis Kromah with an amazing game Beanie bishop doing Beanie bishop things with two picks
