This game was kinda just boring. Neither team was showing off too much. The Bucs had backups and third string in most of the game and really showed out with Jalon Daniels. The Jets had starters out there and still lost which is... not a good sign at all for their season.

That defense in the 4th won us this game I know it's just preseason and ultimately doesn't matter but it's nice to start with a dub no matter how small. As is customary for these games though I would like to acknowledge how much of a problem that Bamba kid on the Jets was for us lol hes gonna be good.

New season but nothing has changed, the Jets are still losers. I will say though, Cade Klubnik looked very good. My hot take after the draft was that Cade Klubnik will be the best quarterback from this draft class. I don't think Mendoza will truly work out. He'll be a solid quarterback but I just don't see the ceiling being very high. While Klubnik's floor is much lower, he is a much more explosive quarterback which is something the Jets have lacked forever. Of course, being on the Jets, no one's going to be good, but once Klubnik becomes a free agent after 4 years and escapes the Jets purgatory I think he will be a great quarterback.
