Wild strip sack fumble to start this game on only the second play that rolled back about 20 yards and somehow resulted in a Commanders touchdown. After that, though it was all Lions in the touchdown department. Joshua Dobbs out of all people had a 50 yard rushing touchdown. Never thought I would ever type that sentence in my existence. But now I have. What the hell is preseason football? Really like no starters played in this game so I honestly don't have much to talk about.

The Commanders flipped the script from a week ago, starting strong before fading late in a tough road loss to Detroit. Jayden Daniels finally took the field after all the LSU drama, while the defense immediately made its presence felt with an early takeaway. Quan Martin made magic again, and Jean-Baptiste was dominant, while Sonny Styles had a rougher outing but deserves some patience as a rookie. Athan Kaliakmanis continues to display a level of accuracy that has been remarkably consistent throughout the preseason, while Sam Hartman isn’t exactly making the decision to keep him on the roster any easier. The offensive line and running game were largely lackluster, but Jaden Bradley provided the offensive highlight with a legitimate catch-of-the-preseason contender. Ultimately, this was the inverse of last week: an encouraging start followed by a weak finish, punctuated by a costly turnover with two minutes remaining that helped seal a frustrating road loss.

Joshua Dobbs... I haven't heard of that name in year! Anyways kinda a boring, but close matchup between 2 teams looking to have a bounce back after a terrible 2025 season.
