Emmett Johnson with a touchdown for the Chiefs. He was such a stud at Nebraska and honestly one of the most underrated running backs in all of college football. Not even just that, one of the best running backs in college football. Watched a bit of Jalen Royals at Utah State and loved what I saw, and I loved what I saw from him in this game. 6 catches for 51 yards, catching all 6 of his targets.
On the winning side, it was Jalon Daniels looking great at quarterback. I saw a lot of promise from him at Kansas, but I was really hesitant to expect it to pan out at the NFL level. Of course, I still am, can't jump to conclusions after a preseason game (I should really tell myself that because I do it all the time) but Daniels was great in this game, 71 yards and a touchdown on 9/14 passing, and also a couple solid runs.
Random weird statline of the game: Ko Kieft-2 catches for 4 yards and a touchdown.

Something I'm learning about my football enjoying experience is that I think I like defense way better than I like offense and boy did this game have some of that first of all at the very beginning of the game there was a ginormous SWAT that Kansas City recovered and took back to the house I don't think it was scored because I believe the ball was dead and then the bucs had their own defensive highlight when on their half of the field they bagged a so well that they pushed KCs backup QB WITHIN THE POCKET back like 20 yards it felt like!

Nice field goal from Butker... anyways Emmett Johnson had a touchdown and he is gonna have a workload this season. The former Nebraska RB has looked strong in both of the preseason games he has played. I said during the draft he needed to go earlier, but he didn't. I think a lot of teams will be kicking themselves when they see what the Chiefs got.

Sad to see the Chiefs lose. However, there were some great performances. Khalil Benson (and the entire o-line, FAU (the entire d-line too), the db room, and Jalen Royals. Also, Butker hit a 69-yard field goal. Fun to watch, even if it's preseason. I'm just glad to see semi-competitive football being played.
