Only 3 things are certain in life... Death, Taxes, and the Ravens doing really good in the preseason. Lets hope it transfers over to play in the regular season now!

Joe Fagnano finishes off one of the best preseasons across the NFL this year! Surely should lock him up a roster spot and maybe even the QB2 spot. He was great at UConn last year, one of the best quarterbacks in college football and continued that this preseason. This game, 19/27 for 162 yards and a touchdown. On the Commanders side, really just nothing promising about that.

Ahhhh, that was nice. If only every Ravens game went like this, the season would be so mich fun. Then again it would be mostly boring for every other fanbase and not sit well with the football purist part of my brain. If I had to rate this game objectively, probably getting a 4, but as you can tell, I am not rating this objectively. Ravens rating time: Ravens defence looked phenomenal. Sad we couldn’t get the shutout, but that means little because Washington could do NOTHING against Minter’s whacky blitzes and smart coverages. I thought Rucker and Longerbeam had strong outings. Keyon Martin may be our best pre-season defender for the 2nd straight season. Okoye will most likely be our international signing and Ethan Burke continues to dazzle as an undrafted player. There are definitely some easy decisions, but there will be some tough calls. Speaking of easy decisions, Huntley is the backup QB and Fagnano is 3rd string if we keep 3 QBs this season. McMillan and Moore also showed out!

After a brutal joint practice with Baltimore, the Commanders came into Friday night with something to prove — and instead got another dose of reality. The Ravens set the tone early, jumping out to a 14–0 lead while Washington’s defense struggled badly with tackling. By halftime, it was 24–0, and whether the starters were out there or not, Dan Quinn summed it up best: it simply wasn’t good enough. Three numbers tell the story: 1-of-12 on third down, 4.0 yards per play compared to Baltimore’s 6.6, and 195 Ravens rushing yards at 6.5 per carry. Washington was beaten at the line of scrimmage, couldn’t sustain drives, and couldn’t get off the field. It’s preseason, but after the joint practice and this performance, there’s plenty to clean up before Week 1.
