A defensive war. The WNBA thrives with these kinds of game imo. The Fever and especially Boston did a phenomenal job keeping A’ja a non-factor. She scored the first points of the game and then didn’t get another bucket until near the end of the 3rd quarter. Unfortunately for the Fever, the Aces defense as well as Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray carrying the load offensively helped them stayed in it. But it eventually overwhelmed the Fever in the middle of the 4th. At that point, the Fever just couldn’t generate any momentum and the Aces hung on for the win. Admirable effort by both teams.
