It would’ve been 10 if the fever won :( but seriously tho they would NOT let go of that game 5. After Boston fouled out and Kelsey got hurt they still fought tooth and nail to try to win it. With all their players healthy next year, they are gonna be CRAZY 🤪 (also thank god Kelsey is doing better bc I was so worried for her)

one thing i can do is give flowers where deserved. the fever skeleton crew pushed a championship caliber team to OT in game 5 and truth be told: almost pulled it off. i hated seeing my girl Kels go out like that but to see her team shoulder it and do that is nothing short of incredible. this is why we love sports and in particular women’s sports. i am a fever hater till i die but part of me was cheering for them by the end. sims put that team on her back. 50 from the field went 12/13 at the line and put her head down and drove to the cup. she had my respect going into this game but now i’m a fan. so much to be proud of for her and her season. sparks are a group of morons for letting her walk out the front door. AB finally fouled out (queen of the bows) and deservedly so. aja put on a show so did jack chels and lowkey jewel. her shot didn’t fall but she went all out for every rebound. that always gets respect in my book. great win great game. this is playoff basketball.

Hot take right here- this was an EASILY better game than all four MLB playoff games COMBINED TODAY. I can’t rate it a ten cuz well… the aces won. And although the scoreboard won’t show it, NEITHER team wanted to lose this one. From the Fever down Mitchell and Boston already added to their slew of injuries… fighting ALL THE WAY until the final buzzer. I’ll tell you what, this fever team when healthy next year is going to be the biggest threat to the Valks starting a dynasty. lol. And I have to give credit to the Aces here, they SHOWED OUT. And just sank threes and sank threes until they got the dub. Good luck against Phoenix, you’ll need it 😉.

The game should be remembered an all time classic. A back and forth battle that neither team could fully control for long. The Fever showed incredible resilience. Even when they lost Kelsey Mitchell, they still fought and pushed the Aces and their 2-headed monster of Wilson and Young to their absolute limit. But… sadly, the way regulation ended left a bad taste in my mouth. That Boston foul call to disqualify her was awful. Idk what she is supposed to do if she wants to rebound. If that’s what the rules say, change them, NOW. Thankfully this game went into OT. And in OT the back and forth battle continued, but Chelsea Gray helped the Aces finally pull away and the Fever just couldn’t push back. A legendary game muddied slightly by poor officiating.
