Wemby will fundamentally change the way basketball as a sport is played this year. With Castle rising in value as a versatile guard in conjunction with Harper’s development and access to the long list of basketball geniuses in the San Antonio network, this team will be a force to be reckoned with in a nearer future than many seem to project. Disappointment in Cooper Flagg’s debut seems to be misplaced. He’s the youngest player in the NBA, give the young man some time: he barely operated with a facilitator on his behalf tonight.

The NBA should be very afraid. Ohtani is THE Unicorn, but Wemby is THE alien in sports. Incredible performance from him to start the season as the Spurs dismantle Nico Harrison’s project right in front of our eyes. Along with Wemby, Castle looked great and keep in mind, Fox didn’t even play tonight. I fear the Spurs have found their next low key, but dominant big man that is going to run the NBA for a decade plus. But I cannot deny that it is amazing to watch. The difference between games like this and others is Wemby will put bad teams out of their misery quickly.
