Valuable comeback win for the Raptors in a game full of great defense and poor offense. This game did prove one thing, Raptors run through their offense. If it’s clicking like it was in the 4th quarter; this Raptors team is legit, if it’s getting thrown off in the first 3 quarters, then it exposes our flaws. The Hawks were applying a ton of pressure on the Raptors’ ball handlers, really threw them off their game. The offense was not only inefficient but it was panicking, trying to force shots that just weren’t there and the abysmal shooting percentages show that. Raptors began getting into their flow in the 3rd, but the 12-0 run in the 4th quarter changed the game completely, put the Raptors in the driver’s seat. Even with some brief struggles, the Raptors hung on for the win. While the analytical part of me loved this game, I’d be lying if I said this game was super entertaining, even with a ‘Quick’ redemption story. There was just as much booty basketball as there was good defense.
