I was confident going into this game and that confidence got shot in the 1st quarter as the Nets were controlling the game and having their way inside. Thankfully, all it took was a 13-0 run between the end of the 1st and start of the 2nd quarter to shift this game. Nets made sure it wasn’t a total blowout. The Raptors lead never got bigger than 15. Part of that is the Raptors having their first tough shooting night from 3. Barrett also had his first bad game of the year, fortunately Quickly picked up the slack as Ingram showed his value as a consistent scoring option. For the Nets, Claxton played really well as he took advantage of our weakness in interior defense. I call it a weakness, but it looked better tonight as the game went along, partially thanks to CMB who is looking like a good pick so far. Not a bad game, but a simple Raptors win after a close 1st quarter with nothing extraordinary.

A little too close of a game against the Nets but a win is a win! Still waiting for this team to be a little better from deep but I imagine they’ll get there. Nice to see Quickley start to play well after his horrendous start to the year. And man I have been loving Shead this year
