The Grizzlies really are in a no-win situation. They need Ja Morant to be any kind of good and Ja Morant keeps having issues that stop him from playing, some of which are his own fault. This game was close for like half a second and the Grizzlies never held a lead at any point. Say what you want about the Grizzlies and their likability as a team, but it’s sad to me that a team that once had a lot of hype around them as a team of the future has essentially crashed and burned. For the Celtics tho, this game should be proof that, while they are not the same without Tatum, they’re not bad. Payton Pritchard in particular had an uber-efficient night as the Celtics won this easily. The 2nd half was basically all-garbage time.
