Idk what I expected. Maybe the Kings get close to the upset. Maybe Westbrook has a revenge game against his old team. Maybe a Thunder star has a crazy memorable game? Sadly, none of that happened. This game was just mediocre to mid. Sure, there were a few cool moments. Chet’s dunks on Eubanks and Derozan were cool, but I never felt the Thunder were in danger of losing this game. That’s honestly what makes them terrifying. Shai can have just a pretty good game by his standards and they can still crush teams. Either Chet or JDub will pick up the slack or the bench mob will take over or the entire team will just shut you down and make it impossible to make any comeback. Tonight was a combination of Chet and great defense. Russ couldn’t even get 10 points for his triple double quota, angering Russ stans everywhere.
