The Raptors get the win, but it wasn’t easy. Bucks kept it pretty close, even if they could never grab a big lead for themselves. Raptors would lead by 10, get it cut down to 3 and then go back up. That’s how it went pretty much all game. The dynamic duo of Barnes and Ingram lived up to that moniker and, although he struggled mightily all game long, Quickley picked the right time to figure things out and made some vital plays in crunch time. The defense still looks great. Sure, the Bucks without Giannis aren’t threatening, but they were 4th in field goal percentage and we held them nearly 10% below their average. The offense on the other hand… oof. Barnes and Ingram were good like I said, but man, it came in phases. There were times when it clicked on all levels and other times where it looked incredible inept. The double point guard lineup of Quickley and Shead thankfully helped with this issue in the 4th, along with some crucial bench contributions from Shead and Mamu.
