THIS WAS A COMMISSIONER'S CUP CONFRONTATION! As someone who has watched three Sun games in a row against my will, I've observed an arc of tragedy to triumph. Connecticut has sneakily become a lot better as a team, possibly finding their flow after a bad start to the season. Skylar Diggins' aggressive 24 points and the whole team winning off of pure resillience shows that Chicago even at half-strength is a formidable foe, a team to look out after they break their five-game losing skid. Then again, isn't all the teams scary at this part of the season? For the love of money, I guess.

Another loss. I'm used to it at this point. 17 boards from Aneesah Morrow and HVL in her return to the squad put up 4 in her 6 minutes of work. Super happy to see my favorite player back on the squad, unfortunate that she didn't get much of an opportunity to put up a crazy revenge game.

The Sun and the Sky were both eager to get a win tonight and try to get their seasons back on track. The Connecticut got out to an early lead but Chicago made a run in the second quarter and it stayed close from there. Miller and Griner both had nice games for the Sun, but Skylar Diggins outpaced everyone with 24 points. Not sure about Diamond Miller’s 3-point attempt late in the game. They still had plenty of time to score. Elizabeth Miller hit two clutch shots to close it out and break the 5-game skid for the Sky.

You know what they say, when you leave your computer at home because why would you take it to disney, use your phone to stream the game while you watch the Knicks. I followed that wise piece of advice Brigham Young once gave probably. These teams were going BAR FOR BAR down the stretch. Aneesah Morrow KEEPING keesusk in the game, but the Sky had an answer to every Connecticut push. Diggins ON FIRE!!
